Thank you for your support of our Spring 2023 project with the The Little Warrior Foundation. The Little Warrior Foundation has a simple mission: To fund and find a lasting cure for childhood cancer, with a specific focus on Ewing Sarcoma.

​Your donations allowed Pieces with Purpose to distribute 120 custom pillow cases to children currently receiving treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering for Ewing Sarcoma and other types of cancer. 

​

​This project was inspired by Eli, a 9 year old boy from New York City who received treatment at MSK. We were very sad to learn that Eli left this world on June 7th. Thanks to your support, we were able to complete this project in a timely manner so that Eli was able to see the pillowcases delivered, and get to use his own. 

​

Your donations also helped us raise $3600, which was matched, making a total donation of $7200 directly to Little Warrior Foundation in honor of Eli. 

​

We hope the pillowcases will bring brightness to many children’s hospital rooms for years to come. Eli will forever be remembered, and everyone who made this project possible helped to make an impact on his life and legacy. Thank you. 
 

Spring 2025 Update 

Using profits from CCDesigns, we donated 72 decks of playing cards to an Eli Sunshine Fund canasta event. Additionally, we donated canvas gift bags for the first ever Eli Sunshine Fund fundraiser. I am happy that the relationship we have built with the Eli Sunshine Fund, after working with The Little Warrior foundation, continues to grow and develop.​
