Backpacks for Darca Students 

Thank you to everyone who supported our Fall 2024 project, where Pieces with Purpose partnered with the Youth Renewal Fund (YRF) to donate backpacks to students in Darca schools. In total, we sent 67 backpacks to Israel. Your donations also helped us raise $2747, which was matched by Pieces with Purpose after expenses, making a total donation of $4614 directly to YRF. 

 

The customized drawstring backpack included YRF’s motto: “Bridging gaps, building dreams.” With the support of donors, each drawstring bag included: 

• 2 packs of pencils (10 pencils total)

• 2 packs of pens (10 pens total)

• 2 packs of erasers (6 erasers total)

• 2 packs of highlighters (6 highlighters total)

• 1 pack of paper (150 sheets total)
